Morris's Family
Circle

Ruth's uncle, Sam Varonok, was president throughout the  seven-year existence of the family circle, from 1935 to 1942.  "Sam always had plenty of shtick," said his sister-in-law, Rayla Varon.  In our web page story, "Morris's Family Circle,." you  can see the photos of many who attended, including Ruth's parents, Rose Varonok Sollender and Max Sollender.  Ruth and her brother, Irving, went, too.  Irving describes how the teen set liked to "get out of going."
