"Michele and I got married on October 7, 2001, in Boca Raton, Florida, at the Boca Country Club," Richard said in his e-mail of November, 2001.

Richard Ian Litsky and Michele Jaime Meyer met and fell in love during their college years in Boca Raton, according to Richard's grandmother, Mary Miller Schoenfeld.  Mary is a granddaughter of Toby Uberstine Cohen and the second child of Lena. 

Richard's mother, Toby Schoenfeld Litsky, had brought for her son an Israeli tallis, which her late father, David, was presented by his rabbi. Richard was married in it. 

The couple make their home in Boca, where Michele teaches 5th grade, and Richard works for The Sports Authority, the sports equipment and activewear retailer.
